Now that the dust has settled on the long-awaited fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion commented on what’s next for his career.
In the early hours of this morning (November 16), the Netflix-streamed event ended with Paul’s victory, who managed to dance with a legend and come out relatively unscathed.
The two fighters had been gearing up for this moment and were becoming increasingly hostile with one another.
Well, Paul was all bark during their weigh-ins, Tyson took it up a notch by slapping Paul across the face.

Fans got to enjoy the eight two-minute rounds at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which saw millions of people tuning in to watch it, as well as around 70,000 people siting in seats at the location.
However, the end result, while expected, was still a shock to everyone.
The 27-year-old landed 78 punches from 278 thrown (28 percent), while Tyson landed 18 punches from 97 thrown (18 percent), which really showed just how much their ages played into the fight as boxing fans eagerly watched.
But what does this defeat mean for Tyson’s career?
Apparently, it’s not all doom and gloom.
Now that Tyson has ended his fight with the YouTuber-turned-fighter, he’s turning his sights on the more-popular Paul brother.
That’s right.

When Iron Mike was asked after the fight whether this was the end for his career, he turned around and said: “I don’t know. It depends on the situation.
“I don’t think so,” he doubled down.
“I didn’t prove nothing to anyone, just myself,” Tyson continued.
“I’m not one of these guys who goes out to please the world, I’m just happy with what I can do.”
At nearly 60, he even said he’d take on Paul’s brother, to which Logan Paul retorted as he stood behind Jake: “I’d kill you, Mike.”
He took on the challenge of Paul, a man three decades his junior to prove something to himself.
He got into shape; he’s been working out and went on to take a hell of a lot of punches from a much younger man.
Now, he knows what he can withstand.

Before the fight, Lennox Lewis, who beat Tyson in 2002, was asked if he would offer Tyson a rematch if he won against Paul but declined.
Lewis said: “No. I don’t think he wants that smoke either. He doesn’t want that smoke. Lennox Lewis is the best. I laid them all to rest.”
To be honest, he’s not lying.
Lewis was 249 lbs at the time of his bout with Tyson, who was 234 lbs and knocked him out at 2:25 in the eighth round of the 12-round event.
They were supposed to have a rematch, but it never happened and probably never will.
Perhaps the next chapter for the former undisputed champion could be taking on more youngsters and challenging himself in the ring.
