Earlier this year, the legendary actors got together for the filming of a reboot of classic cop comedy The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! – the 1988 original starring Leslie Nielsen.
And it didn’t take long for Love Actually star Neeson to speak out singing Anderson’s praises about just how ‘terrific’ she is to work with.
In the upcoming The Naked Gun – currently expected to come out in 2025 – Neeson takes on the role of Drebin Jr. who it’s presumed is the son of Frank Drebin from the 1988 release.
Anderson’s role is yet to be publicly announced, but one thing’s for sure, she definitely has at least a few scenes with Neeson who spoke out about his experience filming with the Baywatch star in an interview with People.
First things first, Neeson noted he’s ‘madly in love with’ Anderson.
The 72-year-old continued: “She’s just terrific to work with. I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you.”
He explained she has ‘no huge ego’ and ‘just comes in to do the work’ and not only that but is ‘so easy to work with’ and also ‘funny,’ adding: “She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
And Anderson has since responded.

Anderson praised Neeson as an actor who ‘brings out the best in you’ and not only that but does it ‘with respect, kindness and depth of experience’.
The 57-year-old said Neeson ‘sincerely looked after’ her, recalling moments where he ‘wrapped his coat around [her] when [she] was cold,’ resolving he’s the ‘perfect gentleman’.
She added: “It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
And while Neeson had some hesitations about starring in a comedy, noting whether he can ‘carry it or not’ he ‘honestly do[esn’t] know,’ Anderson was quick to jump in and offer some reassuring words.
The actor branded Neeson ‘humble’ and said: “It was hard to keep a straight face in scenes together.”
The reboot is based on an original story written by Seth MacFarlane with the screenplay co-written by Akiva Schaffer, Dan Gregor, Doug Mand, Mark Hentemann, and Alec Sulkin – Schaffer having directed the film and MacFarlane and Erica Huggins producing.
The Naked Gun is currently reported as being set for release by Paramount Pictures on August 1, 2025.
Is there anything more tedious than having to update your LinkedIn profile? From adding relevant skills to including a photograph that says ‘professional and friendly’, it’s a long drawn out process that we all dread.
But now, people think they’ve found a solution to the problem. A revolutionary AI app has landed and it’s designed to help people find their dream job.
The phone app will create a professional headshot for you without the need for a photographer – or even an outfit change.
Whether you’re applying for a corporate role or hope to be considered for a promotion, it’s a chance to look the part without breaking the bank.
How do AI headshots work?
The app in question is designed to enable users to create professional headshots without having to leave the house.
All you need to do is upload a few photos of yourself and if you’re struggling, you can simply add your Instagram or Facebook handle and the app will do the rest.
The app uses something called Stable Diffusion AI to generate headshots in your likeness, no matter how bad you think your selfie is. Stable Diffusion is essentially a deep learning model that works by refining a noisy image into a high-res version – and the results are surprisingly realistic.

Depending on what you’re looking for, you can choose from an office background, library scene or outdoor setting. According to the website, AI headshots are generated at a ‘high resolution suitable for professional use’ – be it your LinkedIn page or resume.
Unlike a professional photoshoot which requires shooting and editing time, your photos will be ready to go in under three hours – all you need to do is upload the photo to LinkedIn and get applying for jobs.
How much does an AI headshot app cost?
According to the website, a standard headshot session will set you back between $150 to $300. A high-end professional shoot? You’re looking at upwards of $600.
In comparison, AI headshot app PortraitPal’s starter pack costs $35 and includes 20 headshots which are processed in under three hours.
PortraitPal
A basic pack comes in at $45 and includes 60 headshots which are with you in two and a half hours. Meanwhile, a premium pack costs $75 and you will receive 100 headshots in just two hours.
All in all, it’s a small investment in the grand scheme of things if it means bagging your dream job. Good luck.Visit the PortraitPal website to find out more.
Although Sweeney has taken on a range of roles over her career, from Euphoria and The White Lotus to the horror movie Immaculate, fans of the 27-year-old are usually able to spot her pretty quickly.
The actor’s recognizable long blond hair is typically a giveaway, but she doesn’t even have that in new photos from her upcoming movie.

Sweeney’s newest project doesn’t actually have a title yet, but that hasn’t stopped the actor from getting stuck in as she takes on the role of Christy Martin.
Boxing fans will likely know the name – Martin is a former professional boxer who earned herself the WBC female super welterweight title in 2009, and who is set to be the subject of Sweeney’s new movie.
Images taken from the set in North Carolina show Sweeney fully in character, with her long blond hair replaced with dark brown curls.
Far from the bikinis and figure-hugging dresses from Anyone But You, Sweeney appears to be in sweat pants and a tank top, with bulging biceps to complete the look.
Other photos show the actor’s hair being held back by a bandana, while another look shows her dressed in a baggy sweatshirt and white sneakers.

Fans of the actor have been left stunned by her transformation, with many expressing their excitement for the upcoming movie.
“Wow… What a transformation by Sydney Sweeney for this role. Can’t wait to see it,” one person wrote on Twitter.
Another added: “Looks entirely different!! Super excited for Sydney and curios to see how she will do in a biopic type role.”
“Didn’t even recognize her at first!!,” wrote a third.

Other viewers can’t help but point out how much muscle Sweeney appears to have gained for the role, with one commenting: “Yo she getting buff, hell yea! Hype…”
“She’s got some biceps,” added another.
Sweeney has spoken previously about her process of getting involved in a movie, telling The Los Angeles Times in March that she’s a ‘very hands-on collaborator’.
“I like being able to give ideas, be a part of it, help come up with solutions. It just changes the whole process,” she said.

Sweeney continued: “It’s so hard for me now to be on a set and not be able to help in any type of way and be able to take action. And being able to actually have a voice and have a valued opinion—it means so much.”
Sweeney’s new project is being directed by David Michôd, and is set to document the true story of Martin’s rise to her position as the most well-known female boxer in the US.
Brit-born ‘Rolling in the Deep’ hitmaker Adele has dozens of A-list pals. Some of the most famous faces she’s become acquainted with since leaving the UK’s colder climes for California include Nicole Ricci, Emma Stone, John Mayer, and Cameron Diaz.
Elsewhere she has also struck up a friendship with Jennifer Lawrence and the pair are apparently so close that the actor turned to the singer to ask her if she thought she should take a movie role or not.
The film is question was 2016’s Passengers and, spoiler alert, Lawrence starred in it as Aurora.
Chris Pratt played her love interest Jim, with the pair meeting on a spaceship to ‘Homestead II’.
The movie’s synopsis reads: “During a voyage to a distant planet, Jim’s hypersleep pod malfunctions which wakes him up. So, he and fellow passenger work together to prevent their spaceship from meeting with a disaster.”
Passengers achieved a feeble 30 percent score Rotten Tomatoes score, and Lawrence previously opened up about how she ‘should have listened’ to the ‘Hello’ singer.
The movie grossed $300 million worldwide, and it cost $110 million to make.

Speaking to The New York Times, Lawrence addressed how she ended up working on less-successful movies following The Hunger Games.
Noting her fans’ dismay when her movies flopped, she said: “I was like, ‘Oh no, you guys are here because I’m here, and I’m here because you’re here. Wait, who decided that this was a good movie?'”
Noting Passengers as an example of this, she went on: “Adele told me not to do it! She was like, ‘I feel like space movies are the new vampire movies.'”
“I should have listened to her,” Lawrence added.

The actor later admitted that she felt like people started to get ‘sick’ of her.
“I was not pumping out the quality that I should have. I just think everybody had gotten sick of me. I’d gotten sick of me,” Lawrence said.
“It had just gotten to a point where I couldn’t do anything right. If I walked a red carpet, it was, ‘Why didn’t she run?'”
While she’s been quite critical of her career at times, Lawrence’s three Golden Globes, two SAGS, and her Academy Award prove that people are far from ‘sick’ of seeing her.
The actor is best known for starring in hit series like Sex Education, The Fall and The X Files – and, depending what you’ve seen her in, you’ll either think she’s British or American as she so easily slips into either accent.
Born in Chicago, US, in 1968, she moved to London, UK, in 2002 and has since split her time between both countries.
With her having resided in the UK for over two decades, Anderson has picked up a British accent – but she still has her American one too, depending on who she’s talking to.
Previously explaining why she dips in and out of both accents, the 55-year-old explained to Scott Lawrence in an interview available on his YouTube channel: “It goes back and forth because I grew up in both places, so it depends who I’m talking to.”
The Crown star continued: “Sometimes it’s conscious because I know someone will be thrown by it so I’ll consciously do it, but the majority of time… if I’m at a dinner party and I’m sat between one of each on either side I literally can’t help it.”

This has been noticed by some fans in recent weeks as Anderson has been doing press interviews for her new Netflix drama, Scoop.
The film is about Prince Andrew’s infamous Newsnight interview in 2019, with Anderson starring as the journalist who conducted the talk, Emily Maitlis.
She’s been doing interviews with both British and American media outlets in the run to up to Scoop‘s release on April 5, and her ranging accent has left some fans floored.

“The way Gillian Anderson’s accent just changes depending on where she is she’s insane,” one person penned on X in recent days.
“Gillian Anderson is such an enigma I no longer confidently know which is her real accent,” said another.
“Gillian Anderson’s code switching is cool lol when she’s amongst Brits she speaks with a British accent,” continued a third. “When she’s amongst American’s she speaks with an American accent.”
Someone else quipped noting the star’s interchangeable accent: “I can’t explain it but every time I hear Gillian Anderson’s real accent I feel cheated on.”
Film fans have been discussing Anderson’s accent online. (X)
Another actor who is known for doing this is Millie Bobby Brown.
Brown was born to British parents, but moved to Florida at the age of eight.
She’s since starred in a host of TV shows and films doing both American and British accents.
With this in mind, Brown often switches between accents – something which she’s been called out for by fans.
