Now, Payne’s former band have now made the decision to re-release their 2013 documentary titled This Is Us, with all proceeds going to charities in honour of the late British musician.

On Tuesday night (14 January), the documentary will be returning to the big screen for just one night in cinemas across the country.

They will air at Odeon cinemas, with proceeds being donated to numerous mental health charities in honour of Payne.

The cinema took to social media to share: “By popular demand, and in tribute to the late Liam Payne, we’re bringing One Direction: This is Us back to the big screen January 14.

“We’ll be donating all ticket profits from this screening to the mental health awareness charities MIND, SAMH and AWARE NI.”

So if you consider yourself a Directioner or a Liam Payne fan, tonight may be your last chance to see the classic documentary on the silver screen, and travel back in time to when the band were the biggest thing around.

The boyband rose to stardom on The X Factor in 2010, grouping Payne with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik to form One Direction.

Selling over 70 million records worldwide, the band became one of the most successful musical acts of their generation.

As the investigation around Payne’s passing continues, five people have already been charged over the 31-year-old’s death including the hotel’s manager, a receptionist and a friend of the singer, Roger Nores.

They face charges of manslaughter while hotel employee Ezequiel Pereyra and waiter Braian Paiz have been charged with supplying cocaine.

Judge Laura Bruniard said she did not think the three people charged with manslaughter ‘had planned or wanted the death of Payne’, but their actions created ‘risk’ to his life.
