The Titanic actor has quite the film resume behind him, and there’s no doubt he’s been a heartthrob for millions of people across the globe.
DiCaprio’s love life is never too far away from the headlines, garnering a lot of attention over the years due to his involvement with women up to the age of 25.
Frequent social media users will be well aware of the countless memes made about DiCaprio over the fact he ‘breaks up’ with partners when they reach the age of 25.

In 2016, DiCaprio was linked to actor Nina Agdal, but the pair went their separate ways when Agdal was 25 years old.
And one of DiCaprio’s more recent relationships with model Camila Morrone also ended just one month after she turned 25.
Earlier this year, Playboy model Hieke Konings shared what happened during an encounter she apparently had with DiCaprio during an invite-only nightclub in Los Angeles.
Konings, who appeared on the Dutch cover of Playboy, said: “I saw him sitting there in his black hoodie and black cap and we made eye contact.”
Konings claimed DiCaprio’s manager told her the actor wanted to talk to her, so she went over to his table and took the opportunity to ask DiCaprio about the alleged under-25-trend.”
According to the model, DiCaprio had a surprising response as he admitted to being ‘guilty’.
Konings further claimed she shared a snog with DiCaprio, but despite what many of his fans might expect, she said it was ‘not the best’ she’d had.

Konings then said she told the star she ‘didn’t know him well enough’ to take anything further, to which DiCaprio responded ‘sweetly’.
It’s unclear when Konings’ alleged encounter with DiCaprio took place.
DiCaprio has been most recently linked to Italian model Vittoria Ceretti – who, it’s worth noting, turned 26 in June this year.
Ceretti has modelled for the likes of Alexander McQueen and Versace during her career, and in November, an insider told Us Weekly DiCaprio was ‘completely smitten’ with the model.
“It’s going so well that Leo’s actually being exclusive,” the source claimed. “Vittoria is all he thinks about.
DiCaprio, 49, has been a heartthrob for millions of people ever since he took on a leading role in the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet, and starred as the charming young Jack in Titanic.
Decades later, DiCaprio is still devastating fans by striking up relationships with people who aren’t them, but over the years the actor has gained attention for his involvement with women up to the age of 25.
Countless memes have been made about the actor ‘breaking up’ with women once they reach the age of 25, with some of his previous relationships providing fuel for the jokes.

It’s unclear when Konings’ alleged encounter with DiCaprio took place, but most recently the actor has been linked to Italian model Vittoria Ceretti – who, it’s worth noting, is 25, and has been since June 2023.
DiCaprio and Ceretti were spotted getting ice cream together in Santa Barbara in August, before being spotted again the following month dancing in Ibiza.

We all know what I’m talking about – that goose-pimpling moment where Jack (DiCaprio) is standing at the front of the Titanic, Rose (Winslet) comes to join him and they look out into the horizon, bringing their arms up together, lacing fingers and going in for a smooch – looking like they’ve just fully fallen in love right that instant.
However, the moment wasn’t quite as romantic as it all seemed, Winslet has since explained.
Shooting this scene wasn’t quite as romantic a process as the finished product looked (20th Century Fox)
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Winslet watched back the iconic moment from the 1997 release.
She says: “Now this was a nightmare shooting this, because Leo couldn’t stop laughing and we had to re-shoot this about four times because the light, the light was – Jim [director James Cameron] wanted a very specific light for this, obviously, and the sunsets kept changing where we were.
“This was a section of the ship, it wasn’t part of the actual whole ship set that we had, it was a little sort of sawn off bit. We had to climb up a ladder to get to that, I remember, hair and make-up couldn’t reach us.”
And this is where more obstacles arose in filming the scene which Winslet notes many ‘wouldn’t know’ about – but thankfully the actor goes on to reveal all.
Winslet reveals the makeup was a bit tricky to manage in this scene too (20th Century Fox)
She explains despite Leo ‘looking completely natural’ in the scene, he actually ‘had to lie on sun beds’ and there was ‘a lot of fake tan make-up going on’.
So, within her costume, Winslet had DiCaprio’s makeup, ‘brushes and sponge’ alongside her own make-up brushes and sponge in the other side, the actor taking on the role of make-up artist too in-between takes.
And as they then got on with filming the scene, Winslet notes she actually ended up ‘bumping’ her knees on the railing, the pair ending up ‘giggling’ and ‘covered in each other’s makeup’.
“Oh my God, it goes on and on and on,” she continues, pointing out a moment she ‘can’t breathe’ properly as her ‘boobs are practically up to [her] chin’.
Winslet adds: “My God, he’s quite the romancer, isn’t he? No wonder every young girl in the world wanted to be kissed by Leonardo DiCaprio.”
However, she notes as a result of Rose and Jack’s romantic smooch actually seeing her left with a face looking like it had ‘a caramel chocolate bar’ all over it and DiCaprio with ‘a bit missing from his face’: “Oh god, it. was such a mess. It was not all it’s cracked up to be.”
So, all in all the scene was a lot more rom-com – than just rom – for the actors involved at least, not that you could guess that at all when watching it – I mean, they are actors after all.
Winslet resolves she does ‘feel very proud’ of the scene and film in general because it’s a ‘film that just keeps giving,’ finding it ‘extraordinary’ how whole generations are ‘discovering’ the film for ‘the first time’.
Although, she adds she could do without people trying to get her to ‘reenact’ this scene ‘every time’ she’s on a boat which ‘does [her] head in’.
Perhaps even one of the most iconic scenes in the whole of film sees Jack (DiCaprio) standing at the front of the Titanic, as Rose (Winslet) comes to join him.

While the scene appears very romantic on our TV screens, the moment wasn’t as intimate as we all think.

Winslet actually ended up covered in DiCaprio’s fake tan after the kissing scene, recalling: “I would end up looking like I had been sucking a caramel chocolate bar after each take because his makeup would come off on me, and he just looked like there was a bit missing from his face.”
She also remembered she couldn’t breathe properly in her costume as her ‘boobs are practically up to [her] chin’.

From the classic that is Titanic to of course his iconic role in The Wolf of Wall Street, choosing the 49-year-old’s best flick is a tricky one.
Another one of DiCaprio’s films, perhaps a little less known than the others, is Shutter Island.
The pair teamed up with Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley for Shutter Island, in which DiCaprio played a US Marshal sent to a remote island to investigate a missing patient – or so we thought.
Those who have watched the movie will know what goes down, but even to this day film junkies are noticing new things.
One particular detail was brought to the attention of many fanatics by an account that goes by the name of ‘Creepy.org’ on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Had you spotted the detail? (Paramount Pictures)
“In ‘Shutter Island’ (2010), every time Leonardo smokes in the film he gets his cigarettes lit by someone else. This shows he was a patient because mental patients are not allowed to have matches,” they wrote.
Many fans have since flocked to the comments section of the X post after making the revelation.
“Thats an insane attention to detail and makes the film even more beautiful.” one user penned.
“For me, Probably one of the most unexpected plots twists i’ve seen in a film,” a second penned.
A third wrote: “this movie has one of the highest repeat value.” While a fourth disagreed: “Actually, it doesn’t have a repeat value at all. One can watch the scenes to experience amazing filmmaking but it doesn’t hit it like 1st viewing!”
The film is well-liked enough by fans, earning an audience score of 77 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

However, the flick is not Scorsese’s favorite, as he revealed in an interview with GQ.
Scorsese explained that Shutter Island came to fruition after his 2006 film movie Departed earned him an Academy Award for Best Directing.
The win ‘encouraged [Scorsese] to make another picture with Shutter Island – but that was not the smartest move.
“It turned out I should have gone on probably to do Silence,” he said.
Silence, which was released in 2016, starred the likes of Liam Neeson and Andrew Garfield.
