For the star-studded affair, Pedro, who stars in the action-packed film as Marcus Acacius, sported a black long-sleeved formal top that left a glimpse of his chest exposed with its low-hung neckline. He tucked his shirt into a pair of formal pants and completed his ensemble with black dress shoes.

Dave could tell that Pedro knew exactly what was meant by that question, but he abstained from answering it directly. “I’m immediately sorry I asked […] Can’t everyone who isn’t straight or cisgender just exist, without having to make a statement?” wondered Dave regarding the moment.

Two years before Pedro’s interview with Esquire, Lux conducted an interview with the Spanish magazine Revista Ya, where she spoke about her trans journey and the revamp of her acting career as a woman.
Speaking about her former identity as Lucas Balmaceda in Spanish (translated into English), the actress divulged, “Seeing old photos doesn’t make me anxious anymore […] The same happens with theater: I see someone who was doing what they loved.”
Additionally, Lux shone a spotlight on her relationship with Pedro Pascal. “He has been an important part of this. He is also an artist and has been a guide. He was one of the first to give me the things that were identically shaped,” shared the actress.
