Jake Paul has defeated Mike Tyson via unanimous decision in one of the most anticipated boxing events of the year.
Iron Mike started strong, with Netflix even unofficially giving him with the first two rounds over Paul, who is 31-years his junior, though he started to burn out as the fight reached its latter stages.
But it was Paul who grew into the fight, throwing 278 punches throughout the fight at a 28 percent success rate, while Tyson only managed an 18 percent rate from 97 punches thrown as he lost on all three of the judges’ score cards.

Though Tyson’s age was evident, standing in the ring at 58 years of age, fans applauded the fact that he could last eight rounds in the ring with a young boxer.
Taking to X, one user wrote: “The fact that Tyson was able to stay in it for 8 rounds at 58, against a 27 year old is an achievement in of itself.”
Another said: “Mike Tyson did great for his age. I was hoping for more, but none of us can outrun the clock. There are few 58 year old men who could survive a 16 minute fight with a 27 year old.”
A third shared: “Honestly Mike Tyson won. let’s see if Jake Paul can beat a 27 year old in 31 years.”

The Netflix fight was one of the most anticipated boxing events of the year, though fans cited Tyson’s age as the reason for his loss.
Tyson’s record now stands at 50-7-2, while Paul’s has improved to 12-1, despite the former starting well in the first couple of rounds.
Iron Mike would later comment on his habit of chewing on his mouthguard/gloves post-fight too, after being asked, saying that he has a ‘biting-fixation’, seemingly referencing the horror event in 1997 that saw him bite Evander Holyfield’s ear off in the ring.
Earlier tonight, some fans have endured streaming problems while trying to get the fight up, while millions at home were treated, or jump-scared, to Tyson’s bare a** in his locker room following a pre-fight interview.
