Did you know that one of Heidi Klum’s legs is worth more than the other?
Yes, you read that right, the former German supermodel’s team, 51, made sure to think of every possible ‘worst-case scenario’ when it came to her career – with Klum revealing that one very concerned client made the decision to insure her legs to the tune of about $2 million (£1.5 million) altogether.
Oh, the joys of being rich
In fact, Klum isn’t the only celebrity who has a part of her body insured, with former Playboy star Holly Madison insuring her breasts for $1 million (£730,000) back in 2011.

Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Klum revealed the fun bit of trivia during an interview with People magazine back in 2017, letting slip that one leg was insured for $1 million, while the other was insured for $1.2 million (£880,000).
Which is probably a lot more than you or I could get our legs insured for.
However, you may be wondering how this valuation was reached and why one of them ended up being more expensive than the other.
Klum would later clarify this during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2022, revealing it was a childhood injury which caused the difference in cost.
“When I was young, I fell into a glass and I have, like, a big scar,” she explained.

“Obviously I put so much spray tan on right now you can’t see it right now but yeah, one was more expensive than the other one.”
The model also set the record straight on why her legs were even insured in the first place, explaining that it wasn’t her decision but instead a client’s.
“It’s weird the things some people do,” she added.
Klum previously touched on the enduring appreciation of her legs back in 2017, explaining: “I always enjoyed, and I still do, wearing super short miniskirts showing off my legs.
“I think legs are sexy. I do like to put a focus on my legs when I go out or when I get onto the red carpet. I do.”
