“The Voice” Season 27 introduces country superstar Kelsea Ballerini as a debut coach, adding fresh energy to the show. Joining her are returning coaches Adam Levine, back after his 2019 departure, John Legend, and Michael Bublé.

This new lineup marks a shift from Season 26’s mix of Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg, and Bublé. Ballerini, Levine, Legend, and Bublé promise an exciting dynamic as these musical powerhouses guide the next generation of talent.
Adam Levine hasn’t graced “The Voice’s” screen for over four years. On June 5, he excited fans by sharing a clip on Instagram announcing his return to “The Voice.” The video featured several fan comments calling for his comeback.
Levine captioned it, “The OG is back in the building! I’M COMING BACK to #TheVoice next Spring 2025 🎤🎸✌️ Can’t wait! V27 @nbcthevoice #TeamAdam.”

He later expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Season 27! Yes, I’m coming back. I’m so excited. I cannot wait. I am well rested. I am ready to go.” The coach added, “It’s gonna be awesome. Let’s go. Team Adam is back. I feel bad for other teams. Let’s go. Season 27 is gonna be different. Yeah, I’m back.”
Some fans, however, do not share in Levine’s excitement about his return. While many were thrilled to see the coach back, others expressed their concerns.

Additionally, some fans revealed their feelings about the coach, “ngl i’m over adam. i was a long time fan but his scandal was ick [sic],” while another pointed out, “Love John but won’t watch with Adam, sorry not sorry. His creeper vibes and self centered [sic] approach aren’t what the show is about.”
And there were those who criticized his past comments, “Nope. Can’t stand Adam he trash talked [sic] this show. Why would you give him a chair? Will sit this one out. Can’t stand John either.”

Even with the criticism, Levine has people rooting for him after being a coach on the hit show from season one to season 16. He later revealed on “The Ellen Show” that he left “The Voice” to focus on his family. The coach is married to Behati Prinsloo and they have three kids, two girls and a boy.
However, he was grateful for the chance to step back and enjoy this new chapter without the constant work demands.
Now, Levine, alongside Legend and Bublé, is joined by newbie Kelsea Ballerini. The official “The Voice” Instagram page welcomed her with excitement, writing, “First ever coach of the comeback stage, to an advisor, to a fill-in, to AN OFFICIAL COACH ON THE VOICE SPRING 2025. Welcome #TeamKelsea!”
