Jake Paul Announces Shock Career Change After Mike Tyson Fight
Jake Paul has announced a shocking career change after his Mike Tyson fight.
While no official plans have been announced, Paul’s latest comments suggest he may be considering a new direction—and it could involve teaming up with his brother, Logan, in WWE.
During a recent episode of Logan’s Impaulsive podcast, the brothers floated an intriguing idea about collaborating in professional wrestling. “I would love to,” Jake said about the prospect of joining Logan in WWE. “I would want to be like your Paul Heyman. I wouldn’t want to wrestle as much. I can do some s***, but I would want to be your sidekick businessman or some s***.”
Logan responded enthusiastically: “I’m gonna go for it. I’m gonna go for it. Perhaps, if you retire [from boxing]… you become world champion and then you retire, and I’m still wrestling, you can be like my manager who also has a mean right hand.”
Logan replied, “I guess you can do it now. It’s just time-consuming.”
Logan Paul’s WWE journey has drawn mixed reactions. After debuting in 2021 as a celebrity guest, he began training and officially entered the ring at WrestleMania 38 in 2022. His rapid progression in wrestling led him to win the United States Championship, though his appearances have been sporadic due to other commitments.
In August, Logan lost his championship title to LA Knight at SummerSlam and hasn’t been seen in WWE since. His earlier WWE highlights include facing then-champion Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Title at Crown Jewel 2022 in Saudi Arabia, where Jake joined as his brother’s enforcer. Jake even clashed with Reigns’ allies, The Usos, in a brief in-ring role but has not appeared with the promotion since.
