If you’ve been in any way aware of the live streaming world over the past half decade then you’ll be more than acquainted with Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm.
Shortly after signing a significant multi-year exclusive deal with Twitch in 2020, he mysteriously received a lifetime ban from the platform, with no reason given by either side.
However, in June 2024 former Twitch employee Cody Conners claimed that the streamer’s ban was the result of “sexting a minor”, which Dr Disrespect confirmed in a statement on Twitter in the following days.
However, the streamer has now ditched YouTube in favor of controversial platform ‘Rumble’, signing on to stream and produce exclusive content to Rumble Premium subscribers.
Dr Disrespect is one of Rumble’s biggest additions so far (Rumble)
In addition to this, Rumble has announced: “Dr Disrespect will also lead Rumble Gaming, acting as an advisor and helping to build the Rumble Gaming community.”
His first stream on the platform will be on December 2, 2024, and Beahm has announced that he’s “laser-focused on expanding into two categories: gaming and crypto.”
Starting in 2013, Rumble remains a controversial platform due to its strong links to far-right and alt-right online movements. Its cloud services host right-wing social media platform ‘Truth Social’, which President-elect Donald Trump is famous for using following his ban from Twitter.
The platform also boasts a number of high-profile right wing figures, including the aforementioned Trump, alongside Robert F. Kennedy, Tim Pool, Russell Brand, and many more.
It has also been hinted that Dr Disrespect’s first stream on Rumble will include a $25,000 giveaway for the viewers, as his final stream on YouTube ended with the new platform’s green colors after Beahm’s promise of the money.

The acquisition has been more than successful for Rumble too, as the streaming platform’s market value has grown by roughly 13%, as reported by Bloomberg, gaining $233 million since Dr Disrespect jumped ship.
Twitch, YouTube, and Kick have remained the kings of the live streaming space for a significant amount of time now, but the popularity of additions to Rumble could make it a major player in the space.
It’s likely that this is only the beginning of major additions to the site too, as big streamers like Adin Ross and Fousey have been on the receiving end of bans from most major platforms, and thus might be enticed to join Dr Disrespect on Rumble.
The former Twitch streamer, whose real name is Herschel ‘Guy’ Beahm IV, was mysteriously banned from the site in 2020 before allegations were made by a former employee of the platform.
Earlier this year, former Account Director of Strategic Partnership at Twitch, Cody Conners, alleged that Dr Disrespect had been banned because he ‘got caught sexting a minor in the then-existing Twitch Whispers product’.
Dr Disrespect has had some negative comments from disappointed fans (YouTube/@drdisrespect)
At the time, Dr Disrespect made a statement where he claimed: “Were there twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not.
“These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more.
“Nothing illegal happened, no pictures were shared, no crimes were committed, I never even met the individual.”
At the end of his statement, he insisted that he’s ‘not f***ing going anywhere’.
He has since deleted the statement and has now announced his return to streaming, which has prompted some negative responses from disappointed fans.
Posting a video to X, formerly Twitter, Dr Disrespect is shown to be driving a speedboat to an island before the end of the clip reads, ‘Tomorrow’.
Another said: “Bro just got back from Epstein’s island.”
A third posted: “Any streaming service that lets him come back is apart of the problem in protecting our kids.”
And a fourth person added: “You’re the guy who sexted with a minor right? Anyway cool boat I guess.”
Dr Disrespect seemed to come back at the comments by replying to his own video with: “WHeRe’s He CoMinG from, Epstein iSlAnd? iTs a pDf nOt a DoC. hE BloCkEd mE, leT Me TaKe a ScReEnsHot aNd PosT.”
This appears to be a bizarre reference to the Jeffrey Epstein PDF documents and people were quick to come back on it.
One user responded to the comment with: “This isn’t going the way you expected it to huh bud?”
Another added: “Dude you talked to a minor. People shouldn’t sweep that under the rug.”
And a third joked: “iF I wRiTe LIke tHis iT might sEeM I aM nOt mAd.”
Dr Disrespect – whose real name is Herschel ‘Guy’ Beahm IV – first gained a following on YouTube playing games from the Call of Duty franchise and Fortnite, before he starting streaming gaming content on Twitch.
However, in 2020, the 42-year-old was permanently banned from Twitch for then-undisclosed reasons.
And last month, we finally found out why.
Last month, it was revealed that Dr Disrespect had been banned from Twitch due to ‘inappropriate’ conversations with a minor (Instagram/@drdisrespect)
On June 22, former Account Director of Strategic Partnership at Twitch, Cody Conners, alleged that the influencer had been banned because he got caught sexting a minor in the then-existing Twitch Whispers product.
Conners further claimed that Beahm was ‘trying to meet up’ with the juvenile and TwitchCon.
A few days later, the creator confirmed that he’d had conversations with an ‘individual minor’ in 2017, calling the messages ‘inappropriate.’
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “Were there Twitch Whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes,” he confirmed. “Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not.
“These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more.
“Nothing illegal happened, no pictures were shared, no crimes were committed, I never even met the individual.”
Beahm then announced that he’d be taking an extended break.
Now, just weeks later, the streamer has uploaded a new header image on X.
On July 22, the image changed to a fishing bobber featuring his brands logo afloat in some waves during sunset.

Taking to the site, fans have started speculating about what the cryptic post means.
One user wrote: “I mean, IMO – it’s a small fishing bobber floating on dark waters, evokes feelings of isolation and vulnerability, symbolizing being adrift in a vast, unpredictable environment. Inviting reflection on solitude amidst chaos. Quite a deep perspective but who knows.”
“Before everything went down he mentioned an extended vacation. Fishing is somewhat associated with a vacation,” another suggested.
And a third pointed out “He still has Midnight Society and Black Steel Bourbon in his bio. Not sure why, because they both publicly parted ways with him.”
Three days after the allegations against him were made, Dr Disrespect stepped down from Midnight Society Game Studio.
Following his social media statement, Midnight Society co-founder Robert Bowling wrote to his 442,600 X followers: “This is a statement from me personally. It does not reflect any of my companies and has not gone through any legal or PR approvals.
“If you inappropriately message a minor. I can not work with you. Period. I promised to only act on facts, and I did.”
The streamer, whose real name is Herschel ‘Guy’ Beahm IV, claimed that he should not have been banned and suggested that the ex-employee would face ‘repercussions’.
Dr Disrespect was mysteriously banned from Twitch in 2020 but it wasn’t until Cody Conners, a former employee of the platform, began to shed some light on the situation in June 2024 that the reason behind the ban became public.

Conners accused the streamer of sending inappropriate messages to a minor and trying to meet up with them at TwitchCon.
At the time, Dr Disrespect confirmed the allegations in a statement that has now been deleted from X, formerly Twitter.
In the statement, he had said: “Were there twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not.
“These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more. Nothing illegal happened, no pictures were shared, no crimes were committed, I never even met the individual.”
Now, the disgraced content creator has made his return by hosting a live stream on September 6 where he went on a rant about Conners.
Dr Disrespect took a break from streaming after allegations surfaced around the reason for his Twitch ban (Instagram/@drdisrespect)
In the clip, Dr Disrespect said: “Cody, why do this? What was the point? This was settled professionally. And you, knowing how black and white the internet is, decided to leak the reported reason Twitch banned me in 2020. For what? Why?
“Did you not know the repercussions about spilling lies about the two-time? Do you not know the repercussions of accusing me, Cody Conners?
“You don’t know s*** and it was obvious from your tweet.”
Conners has since responded to this apparent threat of legal action in a series of posts.
In the first one, he uploaded a screenshot of ChatGPT, asking: “What kind of lawyer do I need when I am definitely not getting sued?”
In another, he wrote: “Siri, when do I need to leave for the courthouse if I don’t have to go?”
Dr Disrespect’s ban turned into a legal battle between the creator and Twitch. No party admitted to any wrongdoing and the case was settled in 2022, with Twitch paying out his contract.
