The 47-year-old rapper and his wife, Bianca Censori, made a dramatic entrance at the 2025 Grammy Awards, which took place at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday (February 2).
West, who was nominated for Best Rap Song for his 2024 track ‘Carnival’, arrived at the prestigious event with the 29-year-old in two $450,000 all-chrome Mercedes-Maybachs, The Mirror reported.
But while their luxury rides turned heads, it was Censori’s outfit that truly stole the spotlight.
The Australian model ditched her lavish black fur coat to reveal her sheer, see-through dress that left next to nothing to the imagination. She then completed the look with see-through flip-flop heels, slicked-back hair, and simple makeup.
Meanwhile, her rapper husband opted for a more understated look, dressing in an all-black T-shirt and trousers, paired with oversized boots and his signature wraparound sunglasses.
As the couple posed on the red carpet, a video circulating online captured the moment the ‘Runaway’ star leaned in to whisper something to his wife while cameras flashed.
According to professional lip reader Nicola Hickling, West reportedly told Censori: “I’ll tell ‘em you’re on fire tonight, babe.”
The comment couldn’t have been more fitting, because whether fans loved or hated it, the former architectural designer’s daring look had already set social media ablaze.

Following the red carpet reveal, social media exploded with criticism, with many users blasting Censori’s outfit as inappropriate.
“Nah. This is crazy. She’s stunning why? WHY? This isn’t haute couture. This isn’t fashion. This is just sad,” one person wrote. “The way everyone went silent for a second after she dropped the coat,” another pointed out.
“So we are just walking around naked now,” a third said, while a fourth added: “I’m usually all for people dressing how they want, but this is just straight-up public indecency and shouldn’t be allowed.”
Despite the frenzy their appearance caused, the couple’s time at the award ceremony was brief, as they left shortly after arriving.

While West and Censori dominated headlines for their Grammys appearance, the DONDA musician also made waves online earlier that day by resurfacing on social media after a long hiatus.
The award-winning rapper, who has been largely inactive on X (formerly Twitter) due to past bans for controversial remarks, returned with a surprising apology to former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Referring to a previous explicit comment about Harris that has since been deleted, he posted: “Kamala seems like a very nice human. I just wanna say sorry to her kids.”
In another post, West also voiced his support for President Donald Trump, writing: “Trump’s back in office. Ye’s back a billionaire. The world might just be ok.”
The surprises didn’t stop there as West also made it known that he was only following one person on Instagram – Taylor Swift.
The move raised eyebrows given the pair’s long-running feud, which famously began at the 2009 MTV VMAs when the ‘Heartless’ rapper stormed the stage during Swift’s acceptance speech to declare that Beyoncé should have won.
With the controversial Grammys appearance and return to social media, it’s clear that West isn’t staying out of the spotlight anytime soon.
