Cynthia Erivo shut down an inappropriate question from Dax Shepard about her long fingernails.

During an interview on the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard, Erivo was asked a rather uncomfortable and awkward question by the host.

They discussed many different things but one question often comes up for the actress.

Lately, the star has been rocking some pretty impressive, long acrylic nails.

With this in mind, Shepard decided to ask a ‘crazy’ and ‘inappropriate’ question.

He started “When you’re wiping your butt…” to which the Wicked star cut him off that she had a feeling he was going to bring that up.

She said; “Everybody asks that question, and my answer is nobody uses just their fingers to wipe their backside. You use tissue, correct? And you wipe!”

Shepard responded: “I guess my question is does the tissue go on the tip of the fingernails or do you try to get the tissue?” to which she said: “Pads of the fingers,”.

She later said: “Here’s the thing, there are people who do not have nails who need to check how they’re wiping,”.
