Adam Pearson has got a new film coming out where he performs alongside Sebastian Stan, but in a recent interview, he was asked about a moment from his first ever role.
Imagine being a rookie actor who has just been cast in your first ever movie, and you’re going to be doing a nude scene across from Scarlett Johansson.
The movie was Under the Skin from director Jonathan Glazer, who has since gone on to direct Oscar-winning film The Zone of Interest.
In it, Johansson plays a strange woman who seduces and preys on men and Pearson’s character is one of these, though she ultimately lets him go.
The actor and disability campaigner is in new movie A Different Man alongside Sebastian Stan, and in a recent interview, he was asked about his first ever role.

Speaking to Cinema Daily US, Adam was asked about how his first ever experience in films with Johansson compares to his new movie.
“Yeah, that happened,” Adam said before letting out a chuckle which caught on among his co-stars.
“This is one of the first times where I haven’t had to do a nude scene, despite me asking they were like ‘it’s not gonna work’.
“I was like ‘oh come on’, ‘no’! ‘What about the park scene’, ‘no’! ‘Oh fine’. I mean, every role is different, I’m a very different actor and a different person to who I was when we did that.
“We shot Under the Skin in 2011 and I was still trying to figure out if I’m any good at acting or not at that time.
“It was my first acting gig that I sort of just happened to fall into and get really lucky or unlucky depending if you’re a Type A or Type B personality.”

Under the Skin ended up getting released in 2013 to critical acclaim, and the movie made a point to cast people with little to no acting experience in the film.
Some of the scenes were even filmed with hidden cameras to get more naturalistic performances.
The film ended up being Adam’s first foray into film acting, though a couple of years later, he was also appearing in the short film Oddity.
Since then Pearson has appeared in a number of non-fiction shows across British TV as himself, while also appearing in the short film Rodentia and the movie Chained For Life.
Adam also appeared on Celebrity Masterchef, but was booted off the show after making a bit of a hash of the chicken which led him to have a bit of fun with the ‘obligatory’ celebrity apology when things go wrong.
Now he’s back on screens, or is going to be soon, in A Different Man alongside Sebastian Stan, where Stan plays Edward a man who undergoes surgery for neurofibromatosis and then becomes obsessed with Pearson’s character, an actor with the same condition who gets the lead role in a play based on Edward’s life.
A Different Man will release in cinemas in the US on 20 September, and on 4 October in the UK.
